Privacy
Privacy at NOFRAME
NOFRAME is built to make news more readable, not to make readers transparent. Product usage is measured sparingly, without ad trackers, and analytics are stored only in pseudonymous form.
Controller
Data processed
- page views and topic views
- reader starts, reader completions, framing views, and source clicks
- language, device type, viewport size, and referrer host
- newsletter signups as a hash plus email domain
- technical server logs for operations and security
Data minimization
IP address, user agent, visitor ID, session ID, and newsletter email are hashed for analytics. Raw IPs and raw newsletter emails are not stored in the analytics database. Do Not Track is respected.
Local storage
NOFRAME uses local browser IDs in localStorage/sessionStorage to count anonymous return and session metrics. These IDs do not contain names, email addresses, or payment data.
Purpose
The data is used for product quality, abuse protection, pipeline monitoring, and understanding which topics readers genuinely want to read. NOFRAME does not sell user data and does not use ad-tech profiles.
Retention
Raw analytics events are kept only as long as needed for product quality, abuse protection, and aggregation. Aggregated daily metrics, source metrics, and anonymized product signals may be retained longer because they do not directly identify a person.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, your email is used only for NOFRAME updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to the email or using the contact address.
Rights and contact
For access, deletion, correction, or objection, contact us at the address below. Because many values are stored only as hashes, attribution may require the affected identifier or email address.
Changes
These notes may change when NOFRAME adds new features or measurement points.
